About Joel.

I help athletes and high performers feel less pain and recover faster through a rare form of Qigong Energy Healing that directly affects the body’s nervous system and capacity to heal.

I am trained in the Nei Jing Yi Zhi Chan lineage from the Shaolin Temple and have studied under Master Albert Chen. This sacred lineage uses intention to deliver high quantities of healing energy precisely to pain-afflicted areas. This helps release blockages, supports the body’s natural ability to repair, and typically reduces pain immediately.

My focus is working with driven athletes and high performers who want clear, measurable results. I listen carefully to what you are feeling, then test your range of motion and pain levels before, during and after each session to clearly track progress. Through one or more sessions we will work towards full recovery or until you are no longer experiencing any pain.

Embracing The Paradigm Shift.

We are moving beyond the limiting beliefs instilled in us by the US Educational System, science and government to a new era of healthcare. Instead of treating symptoms in a mechanistic way, we will shift toward treating root causes of illness in a holistic way.

I see a future where our society moves beyond the limitations of materialism, and where the Western medical system embraces more alternative and holistic treatment options like Qigong Energy Healing.
— Joel Rodriguez, Qigong Energy Healer
Our healthcare system either ignores or outright denies that energy or Qi exists - and isn’t incorporating energy into healing.

Imagine Energy Healing as a treatment option before pills or surgery - where we’re helping each other non-invasively and without side-effects.
— Joel Rodriguez, Qigong Energy Healer
If healing across space is possible, then our model of reality is incomplete.

We spend $5 trillion a year as a country on health care, which is 18% of GDP, and we could be missing a critical component about how healing works as a society.
— Joel Rodriguez, Qigong Energy Healer
What I am so passionate about getting out into the world is that there is something else there...

that is beyond what we are able to prove with science,

that is a window into what reality actually is,

and that gives us an opportunity not only for doctors and science to heal us, but for all of us to heal ourselves and help heal each other.

  • I’m trained in the Nei Jing Yi Zhi Chan lineage from the Shaolin Temple, which has been passed down for hundreds of years and over 20 generations of Grandmasters in secrecy. I studied and practiced for 4 years under Master Albert Chen, the current lineage holder.

Our lineage focuses on cultivating Qi / Energy in the body, and uses intention to deliver high quantities of healing energy precisely to pain-afflicted areas.

  • The character you’ll see on joelrodriguez.com is (pronounced “chee”), commonly translated as Qi - the vital life force, breath, or energy that animates all living things.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Qigong, and martial arts, Qi refers to the subtle energy that flows through the body and the natural world. When Qi is moving freely, we tend to feel clear, balanced, resilient, and well. When it’s blocked or depleted, we may experience pain, stress, fatigue, or a sense of disconnection.

I use as a simple symbol for what my work is about: helping people restore flow, reconnect to their own vitality, and return to a healthy, energized state.

  • In 氣 (Qi), the little “two-stroke” marks at the very top are part of the component. The strokes refer to the “steam / vapor / breath” idea - the intangible, moving part.

The two small strokes depicted in the logo are essentially the first flicks of vapor - like wisps at the start of something rising - energy in motion.
